Sensitive Skin Mask

Hi Loves!

When taking care of my skin, I can use either my already prepared products, that I will talk about some other time, or I can do them my self. Today I will talk aout my favorite Sensitive Skin Mask.

I love preparing my own formulas from time to time! And this one is perfect for fall-winter days. So If you have one of those lazy Sundays, when it’s too cold to go outside, or you are just not in the mood, and you are craving for spa treats, continue reading!

Now that the days are turning colder, I feel like my skin needs extra care. I have sensitive skin, and when this time of the year comes, I see how it struggles to get its balance back. That is why I love this particular mask I learned at the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies because I notice how, after using it, my skin glows in happiness!

The base of this mask, and of practically any beauty product that you may do at home, is Essential Oils.

Just in case you were wondering what an Essential Oil is, is the distilled aromatic essence of a plant. And they are perfect for healthy routines as they have a potent effect over body and mind thanks to it’s unique and intricate design.

Therefore, as I have sensitive skin, I always have handy a bottle with a mixture of three essentials oils:

  • German Chamomile ( 6 drops)
  • Clay Sage ( 18 drops)
  • Atlas Cedarwood (42 drops)

These three combined together have a strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, skin-balancing effect.

To complete the mask yo will need:

  • 1 tablespoon of pink clay ( in powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried lavender flower powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of organic oat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of calendula flower powder
  • 2 drops of sensitive skin Essential oils synergy

The process is straightforward, just stir together all the dry ingredients until they are thoroughly combined. Then smoothly add the Essential Oil mixture. Use a stirrer to make sure that all components are perfectly mixed.

You can transfer the mask to a glass jar and store it up to 1 month. Remember to shake it slightly before using it each time. Let me Know if you like this Sensitive Skin Mask!

I hope you enjoy your home-spa treats as much as I do! If yes visit here!
